It’s cold-and-flu/holiday season and this week we are going to listen to Victor 18964 which features “To-morrow” (aka “I’ll Be in My Dixie Home Again To-morrow”) and “You Gave Me Your Heart (So I Gave You Mine)” (or perhaps “So I Give You Mine”) performed by The Great White Way Orchestra under the direction of Hugo Frey with a piano duet on the A side by Frey and Frank Banta. Also: parties and unresolved teenage emotions.

It’s been a better week. We listen to Victor 18797 featuring “Bring Back My Blushing Rose” in a medley with “Sally Won’t You Come Back” performed by the Shilking Orchestra, and “Stolen Kisses” performed by E. Coleman and His Orchestra, both from the Zeigfeld Follies of 1921. Also: Beach Party!
